Magnetic Susceptibility and Peculiarity of Chemical Bond in the Cd-P(As) System Compounds

Specific features of interatomic interaction of semiconductor compounds of the Cd—P(As) system derived from the analysis of experimental data and theoretical calculations of magnetic susceptibility are discussed. It is shown that the A²B⁵₂ compounds are of predominantly covalent and A²₃B⁵₂ of dominating ionic bond character.
