| Abstract: | It is shown that the presence of two rotational rainbow peaks and a smearing effect due to the initial rotational distributions explain Boltzmann-like distributions in the low excitation region. and that softness of the surface makes gentle the slope of the decrease of the rotational state distribution near the cut-off energy. |
