Abstract: | The plane asymmetric problem of vertical impact of a rigid body against the surface of a compressible fluid is considered.
It is assumed that the penetrating circular cylinder has a shifted center of mass. Solution of the boundary-value problem
is reduced to solution of an infinite system of linear integral Volterra equations of the second kind. We present an analysis
of the results as a function of initial values of the angle of asymmetry.
