Abstract: | Summary Indirect conductimetric detection of nonelectrolytes was investigated in microcolumn liquid chromatography. The mobile phase contained an electrolytic substance which maintained a high background and analytes were indirectly detected owing to a depression of the background signal. The dynamic reserve, defined as the ratio of the background to its noise level, was 9.3×104, and the detection limits at S/N=3 were 10–32 ng for alcohols examined. |
