| Abstract: | We derive concise expressions for the intensity of radiation emitted by an oscillating polarization sheet located at an interface between two media. The expressions find application in a number of experimental situations involving scattering or secondharmonic generation at an interface. As an application we discuss the angular dependence of p-polarized second-harmonic light emitted by a layer of adsorbed molecules stimulated by s-polarized incident radiation. |
