| Abstract: | Two new minor triterpene glycosides L-G1, and L-G2b, the 3-O-α-L-arabinopyranosyl-28-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→4)-O-β-D-gentiobiosyl and 3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-O-α-L-arabinopyranosyl-28-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→4)-O-(6-O-acetyl-β-D-glucopyranosyl)-(1→6)-O-β-D
glucopyranosyl esters of 30-norhederagenin, respectively, are isolated from the leaves of canary ivy (Hedera canariensis Willd.). The structures of the glycosides are found by chemical methods and1H and13C NMR spectroscopy.
