| Abstract: | The advantages,and disadvantages of both electrical and optical intercon- nections are outlined.From the state-of-the-art point of view,The relatively feasible application of optical interconnections lies in the interconnections between computers as well as interchip interconnections.A problem that should be solved is the compati- bility of fabrication technology for interconnectionand Si integrated circuis. |
