Torus actions,fixed-point formulas,elliptic genera and positive curvature |

| Abstract: | We study fixed points of smooth torus actions on closed manifolds using fixed point formulas and equivariant elliptic genera. We also give applications to positively curved Riemannian manifolds with symmetry. |
