| Abstract: | A rapid, simple, and reliable procedure for specific microdetermination of organoiodine is described. This procedure consists of oxygen flask combustion followed by an argentimetric titration with an iodide ion-selective electrode as indicator. Some advantages of this procedure over mercurimetric titration currently used in an AOAC method are detailed. |
