摘    要:不变性测试方程法已被证明是解决电磁问题的一种有效方法。目前电大尺寸问题中MEI系数的计算已成为一个瓶颈。提出了一个快速算法用于加速MEI系数的计算,它使用快速多极子方法计算测试子的散射场,使得MEI系数的计算速度从O(N^2)变为O(N^1.5Log2N)。

Abstract:The MEI(Measured Equation of Invariance)method has been proved to be a very efficient approach for electromagnetic problems.Some new fast algorithms have been developed to solve the final sparse matrix equation with a computation complexity of O(N) , where N is the number of unknowns.The calculation of MEI coefficients has become a new bottle neck because its computation complexity is still O(N 2) .This paper presents a fast approach for accelerating the calculation of MEI coefficients.This approach uses the fast multipole method to calculate the scattering field of metrons and has a computation complexity of O(N 1.5 Log 2 N ).Compared with a conventional direct summation method, the approach has achieved a more than two orders of magnitude speedup for the calculation of MEI coefficients at over 40000 MEI nodes.Combining the approach with the FAST MEI method, this paper has developed a fast hybrid method for solving the wave scattering by an electrically large conducting cylinder.The scattering field by a conducting cylinder with a perimeter of 6000 wavelength this was investigated with the hybrid method.Numerical results show that the hybrid method is much faster than original FAST MEI method.
