| Abstract: | Synthesis of tributyl citrate (TBC) , a nontoxic plasticizer , under the promo- tion of tertiary amine has been investigated. Effects of the ratio of reagents and the reac- tion time on product yield have also been studied . A possible mechanism is advanced. |
