Abstract: | Results of tribological studies of modern polymeric materials (thermoplastics, thermosetting materials, composites) used to fabricate water-lubricated bearings are considered. Particular attention is given to carbon-fiber-reinforced plastics modified with powdered metals, fullerene-containing additives, and carbon nanotubes. |
