| Abstract: | In this paper,according to relativistic treatment of the electron and photon,we have calculated and discussed the scattering cross--section of the photon.According to the Doppler effect,we transform the scattering cross--section into the laboratory coordinate system,and the general formula of the scattering cross--section is obtained.Then,the relation between the cross-section and energy which the scattering photon obtained is calculated.The result is that the greater the cross-section is,the more the scattering photon obtains energy.Namely,the more the photon extractS energy from the electron,the higher the efficiency of FEL is. |
