| Abstract: | A one-pot exo-olefin reductive cleavage was for the first time developed. The reaction could proceed under a mild condition avoiding the use of hazardous and expensive reagents. Meanwhile, a TMSCl-mediated Clemmensen reduction in alcoholic solvent was also examined. |
