Effect of nanodispersed silica (Aerosil) on the thermal and chemical resistance of photocurable polyacrylate compounds

Abstract:The effect of filling of a photopolymeric composite based on oligoacrylates (OKM-2, TGM-3) with highly dispersed silicas (Aerosils) was examined. Thermograms recorded in the range 20–900°C were analyzed in detail. A scheme of the effect of silica on the polymer structure, accounting for the filler effect on the thermal and chemical resistance of the composites, was suggested.
