Abstract:Second-order SCF perturbation theory is used to solve the TDHF equations of Dalgarno and Victor through the introduction of frequency dependent density matrices. Exploratory calculations are reported for the frequency dependent polarizability and hyper-polarizability of LiH.
Keywords:Frequency dependent polarizabilities
