Three-dimensional disturbances of a plane-parallel two-layer flow of a viscous, heat-conducting fluid

Abstract:The stability of the Marangoni-Poiseuille flow in an inclined channel against three-dimensional disturbances is studied. It is shown that the nature of instability is determined by wall heating conditions and the system orientation with respect to its horizontal position. With variation in the angle of inclination of the system spiral disturbances leading to the system crisis can develop.
