| Abstract: | A method for the determination of Au, Ag and Cd at ppb-levels in silicate rocks by flameless atomic absorption spectrometry after separation with an anion-exchange resin is described. The final test solutions are simple and calibration graphs can be prepared with pure salt solutions. The detection limits allow the determination of as little as 0.2, 0.05 and 0.03 ppb for Au, Ag and Cd, respectively, in 1-g rock samples. |
