Gel Chromatographic Behavior of Labile Metal Complexes Trimeta- And Tetrametaphosphate Complexes with Bivalent Metal Cations |
| |
Abstract: | Abstract The gel chromatographic behavior of metal ions in a labile complex formation system was expressed as a function of the ligand concentration in an eluent and the stability constants of the complexes. Trimeta- and tetrametaphosphate complexes with bivalent metal ions were used as examples. The retention volumes of the metal complexes were found to be always greater than those of the corresponding free ligands. |
