Abstract: | Reaction of titanium (IV) isopropoxide with the unusual land of Shiff‐base in 1:1 molar ratio gives a variety of new derivatives of titanium (IV) in high yield. These complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, MS and 1H NMR. It was noteworthy to find that all these complexes were active for polymerizations of ethylene and styrene when activated by a Lewis acid cocatalyst (MAO). |
