Synthesis,characterization and cd spectra studies of chiral calixsalen complexes

A chiral macrocyclic Schiff base ligand and its binuclear metal complexes of Fe, Co, Ni and Cu were synthesized by a modified method with 1,2‐diaminocyclobexane as the starting material, which is readily obtained. The characters of those complexes were studied by elemental analyses, MS, NMR, FT‐IR, UV‐Vis and CD (Circular Dichroism) spectra. Furthermore, the electronic absorption spectra and CD spectra properties of the chiral complexes were discussed.
