Synthesis and Biological Activity of 3‐Methyl‐1H‐pyrazole‐4‐carboxylic Ester Derivatives

Abstract:In search of novel pyrazole derivatives with bioactivity, a series of 3‐methyl‐1H‐pyrazole‐4‐caboxylic: ester derivatives were synthesized via α‐oxoketene dithioacetals as starting material. The structures of all compounds prepared were confirmed by lH NMR, IR, MS and elemental analyses. Preliminary bioassays indicated that some compounds showed fungicidal activity against wheat rust, phoma asparagi and antiviral activity against TMV.
