Palladium‐catalyzed carbonylation of primary amines in supercritical carbon dioxide

The chemoselectivity of the palladium‐catalyzed carbonylation of amines was affected by the addition of MeOH in supercritical carbon dioxide. The results show different selectivity in supercritical carbon dioxide CO₂(sc) from that in alcohol. Methyl carbamate and its derivatives were obtained in high yields in CO₂(sc).
