摘    要:IntroductionCane molasses is a major byproduct of the sugarindustry. Most sugar refineries use yeastfermentation in molasses for alcohol production.However,traditional alcohol fermentation addslittle value to the economy since only low alcoholcontent is produced in the fermentation broth1,2 ] .This has caused various problems including poorprocess economics and significant wastewaterpollution ( high biochemical oxygen demand( BOD) ) .
