| Abstract: | Unsymmetrical 1,1′-, 1,2′- and 2,2′-binaphthyl derivatives are obtained by a one-step coupling reaction of variously substituted moieties: naphthoxides and iodonaphthalenes; an SRN1 mechanism is proposed. |
