Small-angle scattering in materials science

The use of small-angle scattering techniques in the study of inhomogeneities and microstructural changes in inorganic materials is reviewed with emphasis on X-ray scattering. Recent applications of anomalous scattering with synchrotron radiation and kinetic studies in amorphous and crystalline systems are stressed.
