| Abstract: | Samples of the binary phase Zr5Sb3+x (I) (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.4) are prepared by vapor-phase transport or by annealing mixtures of the elements or arc-melted products at 1000-1100 °C. The product crystallizes in the Mn5Si3-type structure, space group P63/mcm, Z=2. |
