| Abstract: | Iodobenzene dibenzoates and acetoxylates can be conveniently prepared from iodobenzene dichloride and the corresponding mercuric carboxylate generated . Especially noteworthy is the high yield preparation of bis(trifluoro-acetoxy) iodobenzene. |
