Photoconductivity of ZnSe:Dy

Nature of dark current has been investigated as a function of different metallic electrodes and the ambient temperature. Photoconductivity rise and decay curves have been investigated as a function of different metallic electrodes, flux and impurity concentrations, ambient temperature and the cell thickness. A maximum increase of 59 times in I_pc has been reported. Possible explanations are given for the observed effects.
