| Abstract: | This paper analyses the drawbacks of the stepwise discrimination in select- ing variables with the F critical value fixed. To overcome these drawbacks, there is introduced a new method of analysis which enables the F critical value to vary according to a certain law. The method proves to have many advantages as shown in the example. |
