| Abstract: | Expansion method of the Jacobi elliptic function is applied to solving nonlinear partial differential equations.The(2+l)-dimensional Eckhaus-type extension of the dispersive long wave equation and the(2+1)-dimensional Boussinesq-Burgers soliton equation are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the method,through which the periodic solutions including the solitary wave solutions are obtained. |
