| Abstract: | Surface magnetic properties of a semi-infinite ferrimagnetic mixed Ising alloy with a random surface single-ion anisotropy are investigated. We find a number of characteristic phenomena for the surface magnetism. In particular, the appearence of a compensation point only on the surface may be an important phenomenon for technological applications. |
