Wavepacket Propagation Algorithm with Wavefunction Splitting:Application to Calculate Harmonic Emission of Atom in Intense Laser Pulse
Abstract:In order to solve the time-dependent Schrodinger equation, we have decribed the wavepacket propagation algorithm with wave function splitting in detail. With this method, much interested information can be got from the evolution of wavepacket.Compared with the general time-consumed two-order differencing method, thewavepacket propagation algorithm can save computation time especially for the case of ultra-intense interaction. As an cxample, the harmonic emission and the multiphoton ionization probability of an atomic helium exposed in an intense laser pulse were calculated.
