| Abstract: | Thermal analysis techniques are non-specific in that they do not identify particular chemical species. The use of evolved gas analysis (EGA) overcomes this limitation and opens up new dimensions to the extent that the combination of thermal methods and EGA can be regarded as a novel and very powerful group of techniques for analysing complex mixtures and for studying thermally induced reactions. |
