Abstract: | Densities, viscosities and refractive indices have been determined for mixtures of acetophenone with N,N-dimethylethanolamine or with N,N-diethylethanolamine over the entire composition range at temperatures of (303.15, 313.15 and 323.15) K. The viscosity values were fitted to the Krishnan-Laddha and McAllister models. The thermophysical properties under study were also fitted to the Jouyban-Acree model. The excess values were correlated using the Redlich-Kister polynomial equation. It was found that, in all cases, the obtained data were correlated very well by the corresponding models. The molecular interactions existing between the components are also discussed. |
