| Abstract: | Cascade reactions of 4-alkenyl iodides, involving a carbonylation-cyclization-carbonylation sequence, were accomplished by a hnu/Pd system. The stereochemical outcomes suggest that radical carbonylation and subsequent acyl radical cyclization may be involved in this reaction. |
