| Abstract: | Four optically pure stereoisomers of 5,6- dimethylidenebicyclo 2.2.1] hepten-2-ol were prepared. The absolute configurations of these stereoisomers were determined by α]~D comparison with the configurationally well-established (+)-(1R, 2S, 4R)-dimethylidenebicyclo 2.2.1] hepten-2-ol . |
