Abstract: | The dependence of the mass transfer rate on the water vapor partial pressure for the chemical transport of ZnO assisted by hydrogen peroxide was studied. The effect of water on the rate of ZnO transport was demonstrated to be dual: positive at low [H2O: H2O2] ratios and negative at high. The data obtained were discussed in terms of the unique properties of the structured-water layer adjacent to the solid surface. |
