Synthesis and fluorination of nitro-substituted thionocarbonates

Thiocarbonylchloride reacts with -nitroalcohols yielding symmetrical thionocarbonates. Transesterification of bis(2-fluoro-2,2-dinitroethyl)thioncarbonate affords alkyl 2-fluoro-2,2-dinitroethylthionocarbonates.
