| Abstract: | The molecular structure of cesium metabomte is studied by gas phase electrvn diffruction. The molecule has Cπ symmetry with mean intemuclear distances (Texp= 1080(10) K) Rg(Cs-O) = 269.2(15) pm, Rg(CS...B) = 360(6) pm, αgαg(CsOB) = 125(1)°. It is found that the deformation frequency V(CsOB) = 57(5) cm−1.
