| Abstract: | Palladium on charcoal serves as an efficient and reusable solid supported catalyst for the Sonogashira coupling of aryl chlorides with terminal acetylenes in the presence of a bulky, electron-rich biphenyl type ligand (XPhos), without copper co-catalyst. |
