Slow variation of the electrical conductivity of water under weak permanent magnetic fields

Abstract:Slow variation (for 10–40 min) of the electrical conductivity of a water cell in weak permanent magnetic fields was studied. Relaxation characteristics and the dependence of the resistivity on a magnetic field ranging between 0.02 and 0.11 G were obtained. It was found that the cell response lags behind magnetic field switching-on and switching-off.
