Design of the preamplifier of soft X-ray system on HL-2M tokamak

The design of soft X-ray (SXR) system for the HL-2M tokamak is discussed in detail, including the physical demand of HL-2M SXR system, the main parts of the system, the key processes, technical development, and so on. According to the characteristics of the device (such as high temperature baking, lack of vacuum chamber space, etc.), a high-speed broadband amplifier with very low offset voltage and ultra-low bias current is used in the preamplifier design, to reduce the dark current and noise. It makes the system suitable for long-distance transmission of photoelectric preamplifier. Thus, the installation of preamplifier outside the vacuum chamber is realized for the first time. This preamplifier will greatly enhance the reliability of the whole system under high temperature baking conditions.
