| Abstract: | The same limitation of some current distance measures between vague sets are pointed out.According to the basic rules of distance measures,a new distance formula is constructed based on the concept of which the influence of uncertain degree of vague values should be superimposed instead of being counteracted.TOPSIS(technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution) based on the distance measure is also discussed. Its effectiveness is illustrated by an example of scheme evaluation. |
