Abstract:A technique of using superimposition method for inputting reference and object images to realizing high-efficiency joint transform correlation is proposed in this paper.The key factors of realizing high-efficiency joint transform correlation lie in making the system to record more joint power spectrum information and reducing the light energy in the zero order terms of the output signals are demonstrated.The merits and problems of the two methods,that is,superimposition and non-superimposition,for inputting images have been analyzed.Experimental results are in accordance with theoretical analysis.
