Abstract: | Hydrotalcite-like compounds (HTlcs) Mg2Al-HTlc, Mg3Al-HTlc, and Mg4Al-HTlc were synthesized by co-precipitation method. The effects of the Mg: Al molar ratio in the Mg/Al-HTlc samples on the rheological properties of the Mg/Al-HTlc–cationic starch (CS) suspensions were investigated. The Mg: Al molar ratio in the Mg n /Al-HTlc samples affects the structural strength and the thixotropic type of the Mg n /Al-HTlc–CS suspensions. |
