STYRENE POLYMERIZATION BY OGANOLATHANIDE COMPLEXS[(Bu~tCp)_2LnCH_3]_2 (Ln=Pr,Nd,Gd)
摘    要:Complexes(Bu~tCp)_1LmC1 react with LiCH_3 in molar ratio of 1:1 to give theneutral methyl complexesBu~tCp)_2LnCH_3]_2 (Ln=Pr,Nd,Gd).The complexes alone showmodest catalytic activity for the polymerization of styrene.The polymerizationactivity depends markedly on lanthanide elements.The activity order is Na Pr Gd and the polymerization mechanism was proposed.
