This article, after a short introduction, written by a coordinator of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) Project devoted to the Terminology of the Kinetics, Thermodynamics, and Mechanisms of Polymerization presents the Provisional Document prepared by the IUPAC Macromolecular Division (Commission Nomenclature).
