| Abstract: | Apparently homogenous glycoproteins can be synthesised in good yield by a combination of site directed mutagenesis, a highly flexible but selective chemical derivatisation and efficient purification through the use of glycosyl thiosulfonates such as 2-((biotinoyl)-amino)-ethyl methanethiosulfonate. |
