Abstract:	N-Acyl derivatives of $D$ , $L$ -acosamine and $D$ , $L$ -ristosamine were synthesized with high stereo selectivity utilizing intramolecular Michael addition of γ- and δ-carbomoyloxy-α,β-unsaturated esters.
